How Sourcefox works

Sourcefox takes you from a topic to a paper with real sources you can check. It comes down to three steps.

1. Find real sources

Type what your paper is about into the Source Finder. You'll get real, published papers with the journal, year, and DOI.

Results come from Crossref, a public database of scholarly records. We don't make them up. If we can't find something, we'll tell you.

2. Check each source

Open the paper through its DOI and read it. Make sure it fits your paper before you use it.

Got a citation from a chatbot? Paste it into the Citation Checker. An AI chatbot can write a citation that looks perfect and doesn't exist. You'll know in seconds if the paper is real.

3. Cite it

Copy the citation in APA, MLA, or Chicago with the Citation Generator, and paste it into your paper. Need to hit a word count? Use the Word Counter.

What the Sourcefox AI workspace adds

The AI workspace puts these steps in one project. Its agent finds sources, writes chapters with page numbers, and checks each cited claim against its source. You review the results and stay the author of your paper.

The workspace isn't open yet. The free tools work today, and you don't need an account.
